IIFT reading comprehension questions also include vocabulary questions so that the students can find out the relevant meaning of the word from the passage itself. Apart from this, the synonyms and antonyms are also asked in the exam. Hence, a candidate should focus more on curating the overall reading strategy rather than paying attention to the time crunch.
Similarly, fill in the Blanks, Grammar Usage, Facts, Inferences and Judgments and Correction in Sentence are loosely part of the IIFT syllabus as they have been asked in the past.

To attest admission is TISS's MA - HRM, LR and MA ODCL programs in any of the existing TISS campuses, it is mandatory for you to take both TISSNET and TISSMAT. Both the scores will be considered while shortlisting a candidate for these programs. If you only take TISSNET and do not appear for TISSMAT, your TISSNET scores will be considered invalid and your candidature will be cancelled. TISSMAT (TISS Management Aptitude Test) is a short-spanned assessment test that is conducted after TISSNET. In addition to the TISSNET 2022, candidates looking to get into the MA (HRM & LR) or MA (ODCL) will have to give the TISSMAT 2022 Exam. Only candidates who have cleared the cut off of the TISSNET 2022 Exam will be eligible to write the TISSMAT 2022 Exam. TISSMAT also consists of MCQ based questions which are spread across four sections I.e Comprehension, Management Data Interpretation, Business awareness and Descriptive Writing). TISSMAT will have approximately 40% weightage in shortlisting the candidates for the final round.

It is extremely important for the candidates to have an idea about the TISSMAT 2022 Syllabus when they go for the exam. The fact that it is going to be held for the 1st time only makes it more important for candidates to walk into the exam knowing what to expect. The different sections of the TISSMAT 2022 Exam are given below:

In TISSMAT 2022, the Comprehension section tests the candidate on their ability to assess and imbibe management literature. This makes it quite similar to the Reading Comprehension section of other MBA Entrance exams. The only difference is that the genre of the passages is more restricted as they have to be related to Management

The Management Data Interpretation section is quite similar to Data Interpretation and consists of datasets related to the economy, markets, business and organization. The datasets can be in the form of graphs, charts and data across multiple sources.

This is another type of general awareness section except the candidate has tested only on the business news rather than all contemporary news. According to the TISS Official website, the most important part of the business awareness section includes the economy, human resource management, business news, and labour studies. This is an indicative list given by TISS and should not be taken as an extensive portion.
